Abstract: | The article emphasizes that speech culture is a component of a specialist's professional competence, an indicator of his professional skill; the expediency of using linguistic games in Ukrainian language classes in institutions of higher education has been proven. Speech culture is an integrative personal quality that reflects a person's ability to perform effective speech activity based on taking into account the set goal and the existing speech situation, as well as the norms of the literary language. In order to form the correctness of speech, it is advisable to use linguistic games in Ukrainian language classes - a special type of didactic material that allows you to effectively improve speech and thinking, enrich vocabulary, and helps to remember terms, concepts and categories. The use of such games contributes to increasing the effectiveness of students' perception of educational material, diversifies their educational activities, contributes to the formation of cognitive interest, their interest in learning the Ukrainian language, and stimulates them to study new topics. |
