Innovation and Creativity as Leading Strategies in Teaching English

Abstract

This work deals with the importance of creativity in language education and the ways in which creative teaching benefits students. Current research indicates that creativity in teaching can and should be enhanced in order to promote student learning. It concerns key points for better understanding classroom creativity by identifying common barriers that counteract or hinder teacher creativity. For increasing the level of creative teaching in today's classrooms, general recommendations, and specific strategies are highlighted in the article. These strategies and tools are useful for teachers as they focus on developing students' communicative skills. The objective of this article is to highlight the importance of using innovative tools and ideas in the classroom.
