Abstract

This is an introductory text to a collection of articles selected from the MPSESM-XII conference: Modern Problems of Modelling Socio-Economic Systems, which took place in Kharkiv, Ukraine, on April 9-10th, 2020. Due to quarantine measures in connection with COVID-19, several sections were working on June 25th, 2020 on the basis of S. Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics https://ek.hneu.edu.ua/. The following is a brief overview of the main scientific schools on modelling systems, of the results of their work.
