Короткий огляд (реферат): The study provides an overview of project-based learning technologies in the process of developing foreign language communicative competence. Project activity is one of the relevant learning technologies, that makes it possible to use effectively the acquired knowledge of the discipline in the professional field. By working on a project, international higher education students have the opportunity not only to see the final result, but also to analyze and use it in practice. The project method is considered as an effective special approach in teaching both professional foreign language and Ukrainian language as a foreign language. It enhances international students' communicative and cognitive activity though collaborative work, thereby fostering their abilities, improving information literacy, and increasing motivation for learning.
