dc.description.abstractThe article explores the features of creating pedagogical conditions for the formation of social competence in the context of professional music education. It substantiates that social competence is a key component of professional training for future musicians, ensuring their successful self-realization, communicative culture, and active participation in social life. The process of social competence formation is revealed as an integrated system of pedagogical conditions comprising five interconnected educational environments: instructional, educative, socio-practical, digital-communicative, and artistic-cultural. The content, functions, pedagogical mechanisms, and expected outcomes of each environment, as well as examples of their implementation in music colleges, are analyzed. The study demonstrates that the effectiveness of forming social competence depends on the degree of integration between environments, the flexibility of pedagogical influence, teachers’ creative initiative, and the educational process’s responsiveness to modern sociocultural challenges. Consequently, social competence is conceptualized as a holistic quality of a musician’s personality, combining cognitive, moral, communicative, and aesthetic components.uk_UA
