The current stage of development of Ukraine’s customs system is defined by profound transformational processes driven by integration into the European legal and economic space. Amid the implementation of the European integration course, the issue of strengthening customs control gains particular relevance as a tool for ensuring the country’s economic security, transparency of foreign economic activity, and compliance with international standards. Strategic imperatives for improving customs control focus on enhancing its efficiency, effectiveness, and alignment with sustainable development principles, requiring systemic reforms in management approaches, digitalization of procedures, and development of the human resources potential of customs authorities.
