Economic integration of war veterans in the period of digitalization: analysis of google trends data

Abstract

The article examines the processes of economic integration of war veterans into the national economic system in the context of digitalization. The need to transition from reactive models of veteran policy management to proactive systems based on Big Data is substantiated. The aim of the work is to assess the economic interests and needs of veterans using the analytical tools of the Google Trends platform to optimize their adaptation programs in the labor market. The author classified and analyzed three key groups of search queries: "Employment and Career", "Entrepreneurship and Startups" and "Socio-Economic Support" for May 2026 in Ukraine. The results of the study demonstrated the impulsive and pragmatic nature of veterans' digital behavior, which clearly correlates with external informational prompts, deadlines for submitting business plans and grant announcements. A stable long-term demand for housing programs and practical social protection tools was identified. It has been proven that monitoring digital footprints using Google Trends is a reliable tool for objectively tracking the economic climate in the veteran environment, which minimizes the time lag of official statistics.
