State of hotel services standardization and certification in Ukraine

Abstract

This manuscript is devoted to quality questions of hotel services in Ukraine that is ensured by the implementation of the effective decisions in the standardisation and certification state system. Some elements of the current classification system of hotels and means of placing in comparison with the world experience were been analysed. Sequence of the hotel service certification has been presented in this manuscript based on the international, interstate and state standard systematization and some other regulatory and legal acts on the standardization and certification sphere. Modern state and tendencies of the hotel industry development were been determined. Dynamical changes, which form a necessity for the legal support improving on the standardization and certification system of the hotel services were been identified based on presented research results. Some features of the hotel market development in regions with the high and low tourist attractiveness were been considered based on some main hotels activity indicators and used cluster analysis methods. Main organizational and economic factors of an influence to a development of the domestic hotel enterprises were been analysed and determined. State politics in the tax sphere of the standardization and certification hotel services and regional investment climate have been identified among those factors.
