Abstract: The abstract explores the importance of emotional literacy in language education, emphasising its role in fostering learners’ motivation, self-awareness, and personal growth. It highlights effective strategies such as reflective writing, storytelling, role-play, and collaborative projects that help develop emotional intelligence in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) contexts. The integration of emotional literacy into both student and teacher training curricula is advocated to enhance academic and emotional outcomes in diverse educational settings.
