Abstract: The features of the implementation of measures for state regulation of the activities of enterprises in the agrarian and food industry are presented. The system of support and stimulation of agricultural producers in the European Union is characterized. The “green box” programs are presented as a way to increase the income of enterprises in the agrarian and food sector according to international experience. The instruments of indirect taxation of enterprises in the food industry in the context of ensuring national food security are determined. The features of regulating the production of organic food in the EU countries are clarified.
