Abstract: Annotation. A methodology has been developed for investigating transient processes in laminated composite plates with complex planforms, which analytically accounts for the geometry of the region and thereby improves the accuracy of the ob-tained results. The proposed approach can be effectively applied to the design of lay-ered composite structural elements used in aerospace and ground vehicles subjected to unsteady loading.
