Abstract: This work proposes a mathematical model of dynamics, which allows the assessment of changes in the state of the economic system, which are caused by the use of innovations. The process of innovative restructuring of the economic system is described by a logistic curve, which is a solution of a differential equation. The parameters of this equation reflect the time costs of society for the development of new technologies, as well as positive and negative factors that affect the speed of technology evolution. Taking into account the factors that determine the resistance of the environment to the introduction of new technologies makes the economic system structurally unstable.
