Development of financial and accounting outsourcing in international companies

Abstract

The author proves the relevance of outsourcing as one of the effective strategies for business development in the context of rapid development of information technology and acceleration of digital transformation of companies. The types of outsourcing are allocated depending on the sphere, namely IT outsourcing, production, financial and accounting, logistics, and others. The advantages of using financial and accounting outsourcing in the context of cost optimization, improving the efficiency of financial management and minimizing the risks associated with accounting are determined. The author provides a classification of financial and accounting outsourcing depending on the scope of the transferred functions, specificity of services and model of cooperation. The author presents the key features of financial and accounting outsourcing which form its current appearance and determine the directions of development, in particular: business globalization and growing demand for financial efficiency; technological transformation; centralization and standardization of accounting functions; geographical diversification of service providers; increased security and compliance requirements; evolution of partnerships; changing the role of accountant and financier.
