Abstract: This study adapts the classical Lotka–Volterra model to analyze the interaction between a company and its component supplier under the influence of digital tracing. The modified model incorporates nonlinear effects of digitalization through exponential functions, reflecting the rapid growth of activity as tracing intensity increases. Using empirical parameters relevant to Ukraine’s machine-building sector, numerical simulations in GNU Octave demonstrate that higher levels of digital tracing increase both the amplitude of oscillations and the average activity of supply chain participants. The findings show that digital technologies enhance resilience, reduce uncertainty, and stabilize production processes. This approach provides a new perspective on modeling supply chain dynamics under crisis conditions, and technological transformation project management specialists will be an essential step towards improving the quality of Ukrainian education and strengthening its position in the global labor market.
