Abstract

A new method of general indexes calculation is offered. The determinant indexes are averaged by means of regression coefficients as weighting quantities. Such method of general indexes calculation is generalized in this paper for the case of arbitrary sign of determinant indexes that is of paramount importance at the unstable stage of economic development. Depending on an investigated set of objects, general indexes obtained by this new method vary in the range of 0  1 or -1  1, and give the opportunity to characterize the negative state of an object. A new scale of object’ state is proposed, which is a modification of the well-known Harrington’s one.
