Hopak and combat hopak in the context of Ukraine’s development

Abstract

The paper presents the results of a study of the impact of supporting intangible heritage on the development of Ukraine and achieving global goals of the world. It is proven that the establishment of hopak and combat hopak as elements of the intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine will have a huge positive impact not only on Ukrainians, but also on the whole world. After all, adherence to the concept of «Sport for Development» demonstrates the political maturity of the country, its great importance for the world community and helps to gain greater respect and recognition from other nationalities.
