Integration of gnu octave into the educational process in the “Higher mathematics” course for the specialties “Management” and “Marketing”

Abstract

The paper highlights the importance of using GNU Octave in the educational process for students of the specialties 073 Management and 075 Marketing. It emphasizes that the software develops analytical thinking, practical problem-solving skills, and re-search competencies. GNU Octave also supports self-study and distance learning of the “Higher Mathematics” course. Mastering this tool enables future specialists to ef-fectively analyze market processes, make informed decisions, and apply mathematical tools and models in real management and marketing problems.
