Formation of foreign language communicative competence in teaching university students

Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problem of the formation of communicative competence of the student in the process of learning a foreign language. Both theoretical and practical rationale for and importance of communicative competence through learning a foreign language in the process of self-development are presented, the positive role of the communicative approach in the formation of speech skills is reviewed.
