dc.description.abstract	The approaches to implementing problem-based learning in the educational process, as well as the fundamental principles and specific features of its application in teaching mathematical disciplines for students in economic specialties, are considered. Conclusions are drawn regarding the impact of problem-based learning on the development of mathematical competence in future professionals in economics.
