Abstract

The topical problems of distance learning organization are considered and the main criteria that are essential for effective online teaching are outlined. The innovative capabilities of modern educational applications and technologies for the objective assessment of students' knowledge are analyzed. Suggestions for video conferencing platform developers that may contribute to improving the quality of interaction in the virtual environment are provided.
