dc.description.abstract	The article deals with modern means of information and communication technologies that are used in the process of language training of students in higher educational institutions. The main linguodidactic tasks solved due to the introduction of information and communication technologies in the process of language education are defined. The article reveals the linguodidactic potential of information and computer technologies in teaching various aspects of language and in the formation of skills in various types of speech activity. The stages of work on the introduction of information and computer technologies in the process of language teaching are characterized.
