Abstract

The problem of Ukrainian geo-economic and geo-political orientation influence upon the prospects of implementation the innovation development model of Kharkiv region economy under the conditions of creating the European Economic Area and the ardour to join the EU is considered. The analysis of consequences for Kharkiv enterprises after joining international economic groupings is given. The recommendations for fostering the innovation development of the region are provided.
