Listening Skills Development through Internet Resources

Abstract

This article considers the development of listening skills by means of Internet resources. The article provides an analysis of learning technology with the use of a podcast as an Internet resource. The article also shows the models of auditory skills development. The relevance of this article is due to the expansion of the possibilities of using Internet technologies, as well as the use of podcasts and video casts as a means of teaching a foreign language. The use of such tools helps in the development of speaking and listening skills of students. As a result, the author shows that the use of Internet resources to develop listening and speaking skills can serve as an effective complement to classroom activities.
