| dc.description.abstract | This study aimed to compare healthcare systems in the United States, Germany, China, India, and Ukraine to identify their strengths and weaknesses. By analysing statistical data, reviewing literature, and comparing key healthcare indicators, the study revealed significant differences in life expectancy, healthcare financing, and access to services. The average life expectancy ranged from 70 years in India to 81 years in Germany, indicating different levels of development of medical systems. It was found that Ukraine and India had serious problems with access to quality healthcare services, while Germany demonstrated a high level of patient satisfaction, up to 85%. The study also showed that healthcare spending per capita in the US was USD 12,500, which provided access to the latest technologies, while in Ukraine this figure was only USD 300. In addition, the introduction of new technologies, such as telemedicine, has reduced waiting times for a doctor's appointment by 50% in countries with developed medical systems. It was found that 70% of patients believed that good communication with a doctor had a positive impact on the satisfaction with healthcare services. The research emphasized the importance of adequate healthcare funding, as insufficient resources were a key factor in poor service quality. It concluded that investing in preventive programs and adopting successful healthcare models from developed nations could enhance quality in developing countries. Key recommendations included improving accessibility, increasing funding, and incorporating new technologies, especially in low- and middle-income nations, to improve overall healthcare outcomes. |
