The importance of soft skills development in higher education institutions

Abstract

The article is devoted to the importance of soft skills development in higher education institutions. It is emphasized that soft skills are becoming more important in companies’ recruitment decisions. The article also considers how to develop one’s employability skills in higher education institutions. It is pointed out that a deeper understanding of employability skills and how to develop them not only helps higher education students to prepare for their future careers, but also increases the chances of success and job satisfaction.
