Developing a model of efficiency of investment in the security of banking information in ABS

Abstract

An analysis of the methods for assessing the effectiveness of investments in information security (IP) has shown that the formation of an objective assessment of the effectiveness of investments in the security of banking information (bin) in automated banking systems (ABS) is a very labor-intensive process, and usually the assessment of security measures in banking sector organizations (OSS ) are reduced to the definition of categories: ROI, "Return on Investment", rate of return on investments; TCO, "Total Cost of Ownership", Total Cost of Ownership; PB, payback period "Payback Period". Thus, a method for assessing the efficiency of investments in banking information security in automated banking systems is proposed, based on a composite investment index for optimizing the cost of funds for building an information security system from the point of view of hybrid threats to information security.
