Аnalysis of the reasons for the reduced activity of the vanadium catalyst in the production of sulfuric acid

Abstract

The problem of reducing the activity of oxidation of SO2 to SO3 catalyst due to the deposition of solid particles in the form of calcium and iron compounds on its surface is considered. The reasons for this process are analyzed and the main measures to eliminate it are given.
