Communicative competence as a factor of professional growth of medical workers

Abstract

Communicative competence is a key element of professional training and activities of health care workers, as effective communication helps to establish a trusting relationship with patients and ensures a coherent team interaction. The article reveals the importance of communication skills to improve the quality of medical services, improve diagnosis and treatment through a deeper understanding of patients. The importance of empathy and support in the treatment process is emphasized, which affects patients' compliance with medical recommendations. Particular attention is paid to the role of communications in teamwork between doctors, nurses and other specialists. Also considered how well -developed communication skills contribute to the career growth of medical staff. The article analyzes the main difficulties related to the development of communicative competence and proposes practical ways of overcoming them.
