Integrating soft skills into curricula: how to cultivate a service leader

Abstract

In the theses, the strategic role of integrating soft skills into professional education for the hospitality and restaurant sector is examined. International practices are analysed, and models for developing a service leader are proposed through an interdisciplinary approach, project-based learning, dual education, mentorship, and digital simulations. It is noted that the formation of a service leader is impossible without the systematic development of communication, emotional intelligence, and leadership.
