Abstract: This study presents an intelligent system for automated placement of radioactive capsules in brachytherapy using mathematical programming. Tumor regions are modeled as convex polyhedra, and capsules as rotatable polyhedral approximations. The system optimizes placement under geometric constraints using phi-functions and packing algorithms. Computational experiments confirm its adaptability, precision, and potential for clinical integration.
