Reshaping archetypes of social institutions in Ukraine: the dangers of AI in wartime information manipulations

Abstract

The thesis examines how generative artificial intelligence and synthetic data intensify wartime information manipulation in Ukraine by targeting archetypes of key social institutions. It analyzes how AI-enabled disinformation reshapes symbolic foundations of family, community solidarity, authority and civic trust. Using discourse analysis and mixed methods, the thesis proposes both vulnerabilities and adaptive responses, highlighting archetype-aware communication and synthetic media resilience as critical dimensions of institutional stability under conditions of hybrid warfare.
