| Abstract: | In the article the existing definitions of economic activity are generalized. A system approach to assessment of economic activity is grounded. The author’s approach to essense of economic activity is defined on the scientific basis of economics, demography and sociology. The hierarchial structure of economic activity factors is designed. The lines of further research are designated. |
