Abstract: This paper investigates thermomechanical processes in shell structures subjected to thermal influence and their effect on the stress-strain state of materials. A mathemati-cal model of thermoelastic deformation is proposed, where the nonlinear problem is solved by the method of successive approximations and reduced to a sequence of lin-ear parabolic equations. The developed approach allows the analysis of thermal stresses and the determination of optimal thermal loading parameters to improve the reliability of shell structures.
