This text examines the cultivation of young leaders in China's higher education system as a strategic priority addressing globalization, technological transformation, and ecological sustainability. It highlights how recent educational reforms in the People's Republic of China align with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in leadership training, innovation, and social responsibility. Rooted in Confucian values of moral cultivation and collective responsibility, China's leadership education has been reshaped to meet the demands of a knowledge-based economy and global challenges. Key national policies include the "Double First-Class" initiative, Youth Talent Development Programs, and Green Education promotion, which integrate ecological awareness into leadership curricula. Pedagogical trends feature interdisciplinary curricula combining political science, economics, data science, and environmental studies; experiential learning through rural revitalization internships; digital leadership training using AI tools; and global competence development via exchange programs and Belt and Road Initiative partnerships. China's approach directly supports SDG 4 (Quality Education), SDG 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 16 (Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions). Despite challenges such as ensuring equitable access, balancing global and local perspectives, and evaluating multidimensional leadership outcomes, China is developing a comprehensive model of leadership training that blends historical traditions with modern imperatives. The text concludes that next-generation Chinese leaders will be characterized by professional expertise, ecological responsibility, intercultural competence, and commitment to collective well-being.uk_UA
