Reconceptualizing sustainable competitiveness: toward a stakeholder-based and multi-domain perspective

Abstract

The study proposes a new conceptualization of sustainable competitiveness based on stakeholder-oriented and multi-domain perspectives. Traditional market-centered approaches to competitiveness are critically reviewed, and the need to incorporate a broader range of stakeholder interests is substantiated. Key domains of sustainable competitiveness, their interrelationships, and the role of adaptability, legitimacy and long-term value creation are identified.
