Abstract

In the article thе approaches for the determination of the functions of an ownership were analysed and considering its mere conservative role which provides owners by the possibility to retain incomes from resource use on their own is just partial was shown. On the basis of analyses of the new institutional economics the expand of understanding ownership by the function of a mechanism of raising efficiency of economic system was proposed.
