Integrated logistics service and resource supply optimization as drivers of production management efficiency

Abstract

The article examines the peculiarities of procurement management at manufacturing enterprises operating in an unstable external environment. The purpose of the study is to develop practical recommendations for optimizing resource supply within the management system of goods and services production to increase enterprise resilience under conditions of external turbulence. The research is based on general scientific methods, including analysis, synthesis, and systematization. The Kraljic matrix was used to classify material resources according to supply risk and their impact on enterprise performance. The research proves that modern production management systems remain vulnerable to disruptions in logistics chains, regulatory changes, and price fluctuations. It is determined that traditional supply models require transformation toward flexible management approaches, including differentiated safety stocks and diversified supplier interaction strategies. The article proposes a preventive monitoring system for logistical and financial risks, aimed at minimizing production stoppages and optimizing warehouse inventories.

The scientific novelty of the research lies in improving the resource supply model through the integration of currency hedging instruments and supplier localization strategies. The practical significance of the results is the possibility of their implementation in procurement and production management activities to ensure operational continuity and reduce operating costs under crisis conditions.
