Implementation of the project-based approach in the development management system of united territorial communities

Abstract

The article examines the current state of implementation of the project-based approach in the development management system of united territorial communities in Ukraine. The main principles, objectives, and practical significance of project management in the system of public administration are identified. The necessity of introducing a systematic and result-oriented approach to managing the development of territorial communities at the local level is substantiated. The study analyzes the role of project management in improving the efficiency of local self-government bodies, ensuring transparency of management processes, optimizing the use of resources, and attracting additional investments and international technical assistance. Particular attention is paid to the importance of strategic planning, coordination of actions between authorities, business and the public, as well as increasing the adaptability of territorial communities to modern socio-economic challenges and post-war recovery processes. It has been established that the implementation of the project approach contributes to strengthening the institutional capacity of local governments, improving the quality of public services, increasing community competitiveness, and ensuring sustainable territorial development.
