Abstract: The study presents findings on corporate social responsibility (CSR) as a means of ethical self-regulation in business, driven by the objective factors of social development. The paper thoroughly examines the positive impacts of implementing social initiatives, including increased market capitalisation, enhanced consumer loyalty, and improved employee management. Additionally, it highlights potential risks and drawbacks, such as possible short-term reductions in profits, increased resource expenditures, and the absence of standardised reporting to the community.
