Justification of the tools for providing resources for the production activities of industrial enterprises

Abstract

The purpose of the article is a comprehensive theoretical justification of the role of resource provision in the management system of a modern enterprise and the development of practical tools for improving the processes of making managerial decisions in the field of formation and use of reserves to increase the overall economic efficiency and security of the business entity. The article proves that in conditions of market instability and military-political risks, resource provision is transformed from a tool of operational activity into a strategic foundation of economic security. The study reveals the essence and strategic role of the enterprise's resource provision, and also substantiates its direct relationship with the inventory management system as a tool for the practical implementation of resource policy. It is substantiated that decision-making regarding inventories is a key mechanism for implementing a resource strategy, since inventories are the most dynamic part of assets that affects liquidity. Six interrelated components of the systematic analysis of inventories are identified: from goal-setting to implementing results in practice. Particular attention is paid to the feasibility of forming strategic reserves as a means of leveling supply disruptions. It is proven that the effectiveness of decisions made directly correlates with the turnover indicator, which allows you to identify hidden internal reserves of the enterprise and avoid "freezing" financial resources. The scientific novelty of the study lies in deepening the theoretical and methodological principles of managing the resource potential of the enterprise through the integration of inventory formation processes into the overall strategic planning system. The procedure for making managerial decisions is improved by structuring the stages of resource availability analysis, which, unlike existing approaches, takes into account not only economic feasibility, but also the factor of strategic stability in times of crisis. The interpretation of the concept of "resource provision" as a dynamic system of methods and models that ensure the adaptability of the enterprise to changes in the external environment has been further developed.
