Abstract: The article presents a theoretical and methodological analysis of the adaptation processes of internally displaced persons (IDPs) in new communities through the lens of social integration and civic engagement. The study examines the challenges arising during displacement and highlights successful integration practices based on examples from various regions of Ukraine. Particular attention is paid to the experiences of communities that create inclusive environments for IDPs, promote social interaction, and support the cultural identity of displaced persons.
