Abstract: The article highlights the problem of many methods that can contribute to the autonomy and creativity of students, in particular, project pedagogy, which has become an everyday practice in higher education, especially in the study of a foreign language. Autonomy and creativity are investigated as an important component in the formation of foreign language competence.
